Caution..the conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn Dec 19, 2017 – March 23, 2020

Planets in Capricorn

As a fellow traveler to the east and a practicing astrologer – cum – reincarnated high priest of the ancient, I would like  to share some articles by known astrologers, Alethea of Empowered Destiny.com and Astrology Readings by Leslie Hale,  about the meaning of the transits of saturn, pluto and soon to join jupiter  through the constellation of Capricorn which is very timely considering the events unfolding in our craft particularly Philippine Masonry.

Hope we contemplate and review our travel why all these things are happening.

Some Pluto In Capricorn Cautions

Pluto In Capricorn Cautions

“Long-term sustainability” is more than just some trendy catchphrase; it’s a concept we all need to be deeply considering during Pluto in Capricorn.  Why? Pluto represents the principle of destruction and when it inhabits the enduring sign of The Goat we do need to be very careful about things that degrade the long-term sustainability of something in our lives; particularly if it involves our career, professional field as a whole, status, or reputation and DOUBLY so if the cause of this potential ruin stems from any ethically funky conduct.

Capricorn likes to build things up, but Pluto razes them to the ground and there is a “deconstructed” feel to Pluto in Capricorn overall; especially when it comes to uncovering the basic framework or modeling that makes a current (business?) model of something unworkable in the long run.  It becomes increasingly important to consider how viable something is in its present form while being nuclear conscious of the way(s) in which the energy we’re putting into that particular venture is either going to enrich or undermine it.  And with Saturn soon entering Capricorn and approaching a conjunction with Pluto in the not-too-distant future (Jan 2020), ambitions can become intensified in such a way that we may lock onto the goal of ascending to the summit at all costs.  The very last thing we want to do ahead of this kind of astro is to build upon the wrong foundation, because to topple from that kind of height can be devastating at the least and perhaps even lethal in a worst-case scenario.

Obviously, averting this kind of outcome is highly advisable – to do this we must first consider WHAT we’re using our power for and HOW we’re using it (hint: ethically and responsibly are always pretty good places to start).  We must be mindful of the energy we’re directing toward our image/brand and take seriously any threats that stand to detract from our reputation.  Integrity – especially in a professional sense – is absolutely critical; it’s when we try to cheat and take shortcuts to success, compromise our standards for greed or because we’re terrified we “won’t make it” otherwise, and do not respect our limitations that we get into trouble.  This energy hits professionals of all stripes, but I do think it’s likely be harder on business owners, teachers, and law enforcement in general and we really must pause to consider how anything we do might reflect badly upon our profession as a whole.  Holding ourselves to the highest possible standard and considering the mark we’re leaving on the world (which hopefully doesn’t amount to a stain) is critical; under this energy it is better to ditch a career path or fold up a business if the alternative involves disgrace – the refusal to do something that damages self-respect is the most reliable litmus test for integrity, always.

If one is involved in the law enforcement field, this is a mighty important time to be examining any potential power and/or control complexes within that compel us to seek authority over others – get that shit sorted out NOW because the karmic retribution is likely to be terrible if/when our unexamined psychological baggage leads to a misuse/abuse of position.  Those who teach in any capacity must be prepared to make sure they are stringently qualified to specialize in the areas they plan to teach, because illegitimacy may be a real issue under this energy while also respecting the integrity of the fundamental foundations of these subjects – this is not a time to get all loosey-goosey and teach a corrupted version of something we’ve learned because this would amount to tainting the wisdom.  Distill it down into something more potent while staying true to the core teachings by all means, but do not veer toward irreverent disregard for the System (whatever that may be) or tried-and-true keystone(s) that have withstood the test of time.  It’s also a time to consider very careful WHAT tools you are giving to WHOM – for example, this would not be the time to put occult teachings in the wrong hands.  And be prepared to accept responsibility for what you’re passing down to students, for they are your legacy.  Supervise them to ensure the wisdom and tools you instill within are handled respectfully and responsibly so they prove a credit to the teachings, because under this energy it’s easier than normal – if this caution is not heeded – to wind up pumping out a student who not only reflects badly upon YOUR good name, but it also circles back to the earlier point I made about not degrading the long-term sustainability of one’s field as a whole by giving it a bad reputation (ex: a “quack” psychologist or one that is going into the field for the wrong reasons/has not worked through their own psychological baggage).  Business owners, on the other hand, may find themselves having to make some tough calls that affect the integrity and/or survivability of their biz/business model. Remember what I said before: It’s better to take a loss or fold a company than compromise our standards, credibility, or ethics under this vibe – in the long run, we are likely to be screwed far harder for doing so.

STAR STRUCK CHRONICLES

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”

Saturn has entered Capricorn: building foundations and structures

Saturn is known as the taskmaster, or the Lord of Karma and the Great teacher to name a few.Without Saturn we have no stability in life. It shows us both our structures and our boundaries.

Saturn changes signs about every two and a half years, and takes about 30 years to circle through the entire zodiac. Saturn entered Sagittarius December 2014, and remains there another  five and a half months.

December 19, 2017 Saturn enters Capricorn where it will remain until March 23, 2020

Saturn in Capricorn is far different than Saturn in Sagittarius where it currently lies. Saturn in Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, and is the ninth house ruler, the place of ideas and philosophies (politics included). Saturn in Capricorn is at home in this sign.

When Saturn enters Capricorn we will all begin a new cycle and chapter altogether, both individually and collectively.

Capricorn is a no frills sign and deals with power, business and structure. Saturn here is concerned with security and structure, tradition, organization, big business and defense. If left unchecked, big business can become the new Gods of the Universe as Saturn moves through this sign.

Saturn in Capricorn can denote great wealth but also great limitations. Saturn was in Capricorn during the worst part of the Great Depression in the early 1930’s. The rich got richer, and the poor got poorer.

The last transit of Saturn in Capricorn was from February 15, 1988 until February 5, 1991. Before that it was January of 1959-January of 1962, and December 1929-November 1932.

While in Capricorn, Saturn will build things that are meant to inspire respect (or intimidation) as much as anything else. The Berlin wall for example, began construction under a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction (August 31, 1961). It was meant to be a political symbol to keep some people in their place. We will experience another Jupiter /Saturn conjunction, considered to be an important new cycle, especially in mundane astrology in 2020.

In 2020 Pluto will conjunct Saturn at 22 degrees of Capricorn and this will bring an entire new cycle. In reality, this will be a dangerous time in the world, where many things can and will happen. Events leading up to this period will begin long before the aspect becomes exact.

Saturn-Pluto will relate to the established power structures and ruling elite versus the common people, potential nuclear events and restriction on many levels. We could see a worldwide recession. This is a restrictive transit and we will see these restrictions play out on many levels in the world and in our personal lives. This transit will affect all of those individuals with cardinal planets 20-24 degrees.

Saturn conjunct Pluto will be a stressful period and can indicate limitation, financial loss, potential war and change and transformation. Many things will change at this time or be transformed, or end all together. It will not be easy.

The last time Saturn was conjunct Pluto was in Libra June-July 1983. During this time we saw unemployment rise in the US to the highest level since 1941. Europe was dealing with the IRA, Ethiopia appealed to the world for aid when death tolls from hunger reached 4 million, the US invaded Grenada, the Philippine leader was assassinated, the US embassy in Beirut was destroyed by a suicide bomber killing 63, and Ronald Regan proposed Strategic defense initiative to name just a few world events at this time.

The positive side of this combination  can relate to industrial infrastructure, science and engineering and a deeper understanding of things like genetics and physics. Some things can be transformed for the better.

The negative side is not going to be a piece of cake: tyranny, the abuse of power and corruption, organized crime and criminal activities, nuclear incidents, power struggles, recessions, issues with the monetary system and banks, and war, and limitation on many levels.

I will write more about this in the future. But, my advice to clients is to pay off all the debt you can now, and save, save, save.

Those most affected in a challenging way by Saturn in Capricorn will be the Cardinal signs-Aries (square), Cancer (opposition), Libra (square) and Capricorn (conjunct), or those who have planets in cardinal signs.

When Saturn enters your sign (Capricorn) it can denote a stressful period. Many things end and a new situation is often born on the ruins of the old. Typically, I tell clients with Saturn in your own sign you will be re-creating yourself in some way as Saturn crosses your Sun.

Those who will fare the best will be those born under the earth and some water signs-Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Pisces or planets in these signs. In this case you can experience slow and stable growth.

Saturn Transit in Capricorn Dec 19, 2017 – March 20, 2020

Saturn, the sixth planet away from the Sun is the second largest planet in the Solar System at 74,600 miles in diameter (120,000 kilometers). It takes 29 ½ years to orbit the Sun. Saturn has 12 moons, the largest of which is Titan. It is encircled by rings which are actually particles of ice and rock.

In Greek mythology, Cronus or Saturn in Rome, was the son of Uranus and Gaia. He led his brothers and sisters, in a revolt against their father and became the king of the gods. He married his sister Rhea. They had a total of six children, but Cronus had a bad habit of eating his newborn children to prevent them from one day overthrowing him as king of the Gods. Finally, at the birth of her last child, Zeus, Rhea tricked him into swallowing a rock instead. Zeus then beat his father, with the help of his brothers and sisters. Cronus managed to escape to the underworld which began the golden age of the earth. According to myth, when  Zeus or Jupiter became King of the Gods, Saturn introduced agriculture to the people by teaching them how to farm the land.

In Astrology, Saturn rules the sign of Capricorn and Aquarius.  He is a teacher planet who teaches  discipline, commitments, strictness, hard work and responsibility. His lesson is harsh, brings definition, and often limitation, to the planets it aspects but it help us grow and understand the world around us.

Saturn is considered a malefic planet if aspected in some  signs like Cancer the opposite of Capricorn.  In adverse condition, this planet gives sorrow, misery, poverty, loss, separation from relationship, death, bad health, accidents, and hurdles in life.  Saturn represents everything that is old, rigid and traditional, and symbolizes materialism, suffering, anguish, setbacks, disappointment and enmity. Also failure, greed, oppression, hatred, and chronic diseases belong to its domain, but when placed in beneficial house and signs, it bestows good health, great fortune, fame, and wealth.

Saturn is in its exaltation in the sign of Libra; Saturn is in its fall in the sign of Aries (opposite the sign of its exaltation); and Saturn is in its detriment in the sign of Cancer (opposite the ruling sign of Capricorn).

When Saturn is well situated in the birth chart, the individual is sparingly, diligent, persevering, reliable, stable, patient and possesses the ability to concentrate. Saturn is also the planet of strict justice. It is conservative and practical and affects the physical life elements; it indicates career and ambition.

Saturn in Capricorn governs big business, farming, mining, and other earth related works, and when he is home to his ruling sign, you can expect power, authority to government, institution and society, but needs hard work, diligence, no cutting corners, material reality and success.

Saturn Transit in Capricorn  on December 2017 highlighted the Bitcoin, Blockchain Technology and  Artificial Intelligence

Big event is coming up as Saturn Planet transits Capricorn. Saturn Planet takes 2 ½ years to transit each sign  and approximately 29 1/2 years to travel around the sun through the 12 zodiac signs.

The Bitcoin hype of reaching  $2O,OOO  in coindesk price index per bit from the price of $9OO at the start of the year 2O17,  marks the transit of Saturn in Capricorn after the 2 ½ year stay in mutable Sagittarius. With the introduction of block chain technology which database is tampered proof and secured from hackers in the form of identification wallet and QR code, the year 2O18 will be the focus of cryptocurrency market. The Blockchain is the new technology development being implemented behind bitcoin and other cryptocurrency production by farming or computer mining. It was invented in 2008 by a person, or a team of people, named Satoshi Nakamoto.  According to report, it is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.

Its design goal is to speed up and simplify how transactions are recorded. Any type of asset can be transacted using the blockchain in an entirely decentralized system. On the blockchain, trust is established, not by powerful intermediaries like banks, governments and technology companies, but through mass collaboration and clever code. Settlement and clearing time is reduced to seconds. The distributed ledger is replicated on thousands of computers around the world and is kept secure by powerful encryption algorithms. The technology is so disruptive that it may in time spur new changes in how companies and even governments work.

Blockchain provides the opportunity to introduce new products and services, reduce costs of existing services and significantly reduce transaction times, from days to seconds.

QR code

QR Code.. A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera telephones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an intelligence exhibited by the machines. Fintech companies deal with a lot of data points and put it into action but analyzing it, drawing insights and learning from the ever growing data to evolve, is where the role of Artificial Intelligence comes in, as it helps to make sense of the data and provide key enablements for the system to evolve.

The scope of AI will impact various key areas within the Fintech industry, like: customer support, reporting tools, data security, decision-making, etc. In financial services, AI will be deployed in the back-end to improve decision making and financial analysis while on the consumer facing side, it will transform the interface for human interactions with the software and the use of chat bots and voice systems for customer support, thereby lowering the costs.

Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence technologies have already begun paving the way for drastic transformation in the Fintech industry and  its mass adoption across the markets will  accelerate at speed the new financial ecosystem.

Pluto in Capricorn. Jan. 26, 2008 – Nov. 19, 2024

In Astrology, Pluto, the planet of transformation is halfway on his travel in Capricorn. This slow moving planet revolves around the sun in 248 years and staying 12 to 16 years in each sign of the  zodiac.

In Greek Mythology, Pluto or Hades is the  God of the Underworld who abducted Persephone the daughter of his sister Demeter. He was considered to be the God of wealth and hidden treasure.

Pluto is associated with renewal and rebirth. It represents endings and new beginnings, as well as spiritual growth and rebirth. Negative expression of Pluto is an obsessive desire for power and control and general destructiveness.

Pluto’s dark powers of control, through money, is a theme that each of us will wrestle with, in some form or another. The specter of debtor’s prisons has risen in the news here and there, but it’s not likely to go that far.

Bitcoin is the most well-known cryptocurrency and digital payment system that was created in 2009 .  It was introduced just a few months after the collapse of the global banking sector and upon the transit of Pluto in Capricorn.

Cryptocurrency  market  capitalizations as of 27 January 2018, in billions of US dollars.

Pluto, the God of the underworld,  controls the cryptocurrency.
