Ang Mga Aral ni Haring Saturno

“Alam kong wala kang kasalanan.

Transit Saturn Opposition natal Sun in Taurus

My Personal Experience

Book of Job

Job 38:31-32

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

I Ching , the Book of Changes

12th December 2016  is the 64th year of my existence having born in year of the Chinese Water Dragon, month of black rat, the day of the black dragon, and the time of the black tiger. Dragon sign runs in the family. My mother was born 1928 under earth dragon sign while a grandson is a water dragon born in the year 2012.  Chinese tradition says,  to be born  a dragon ,  hold the beneficial power of heaven. Dragon is the only fictitious and deified animal that doesn’t exist in the world.  It is one of the four most revered animals of ancient China.

I refer to the old treatise of the ancient Chinese art of divination to predict the next move  or  at least have a glimpse of the next event in my life.  Many people are using this art as practical guide to decide important issues, to gain deeper insights and to widen their mental horizons about  life status and relationship.  This was the first Chinese metaphysical studies  I’ve learned thirty years ago together with the different branches of chinese astrology, Ming Shu, Zi Wei Dou Shu or the Purple Star Astrology  of the great bear constellation.

The I Ching  or Classic of Changes, is an ancient divination text and the oldest of the Chinese classics. Possessing a history of more than two and a half millennia of commentary and interpretation, the I Ching is an influential text read throughout the world, providing inspiration to the worlds of religion, psychoanalysis, business, literature,  art , and understanding Eastern thought.

The I Ching uses a type of divination called cleromancy, which produces apparently random numbers. Four numbers, 6, 7, 8 & 9  are turned into a hexagram, which can then be looked up in the I Ching book, arranged in an order known as the King Wen sequence.

There are two methods to conduct the I Ching, the simple and easy method is the 3 coin method, while the yarrow stalk counting is a little bit complex  but have an accurate reading for beginner.

hex-i-ching

Table of Hexagram

The Coin Method

1. Hold the coins loosely in your hands, shake them briefly, and then toss them, all the while contemplating your query. The line you record is determined by assigning numerical values to heads and tails, then adding the total. Each head is a 3, and each tail is a 2.  So, if you cast one head and two tails (3+2+2), your starting line would be = 7

2. Collect the coins and toss another five times, recording the numerical values and the corresponding line each time, building your six-line hexagram from the bottom up.

The hexagram you’ve just created can be called your “present hexagram.” In order to produce a “future hexagram,” just change all the lines marked with an ‘x’ or an ‘o’ into their opposite. Any broken lines (Yin) marked with an ‘x’ flip into their opposite—a solid line (Yang)—and solid Yang lines marked with an ‘o’ turn into the broken Yin lines.

The Yarrow Stalk Method

1 – Take a single stalk from the bundle of 50 and lay it crossways in front of you. This symbolizes the Wu Chi – the unchanging ground of being.2 – Divide the remaining stalks into two piles. Set down the pile in your right hand.3 – Take one stalk from that right-hand pile and place it between the 4th and little fingers of your left hand (while still holding the left pile in your left hand)4 – Count off the left pile by fours, setting the fours in a pile separate from the right-hand pile. When you have 4 or fewer left from the original left pile, tuck them between the 3rd and 4th fingers of your left hand.

5 – Now put the right-hand pile into your left hand and also count it off by fours until four or fewer sticks remain.

6 – If you counted correctly (ie. got fours not threes or fives each time you removed stalks) you now have a total either 5 or 9 sticks in your left hand. Think of 5 as a small number, equivalent to heads or yang in the coin method, and think of 9 as a large number, equivalent to tails or yin in the coin method.

7 – Lay these 5 or 9 stalks across the one you removed in step #1.

8 – Repeat steps 2 through 7 twice more. You will get either 4 or 8 stalks each time (not 5 or 9 as in the first time). Here 4 is small, yang or heads; 8 is big, yin or tails.

9 – Now look at the three piles that are lying across the single stalk. There are only four possibilities:

All are small (4 or 5 stalks) — This is a changing yang line — solid becomes broken
All are big (8 or 9 stalks) — This is a changing yin line — broken becomes solid
Two are small and one is big — This is an unchanging yin line — broken
Two are big and one is small — This is an unchanging yang line — solid

This is the first (bottom) of the six lines in your hexagram – remember it or write it down.

10 – Pick up all the stalks except the single one from step #1, then repeat steps 2 through 9 five more times.

Memento Mori

{ Memento mori means “remember that you must die” in the language of Latin. It serves to remind us of our own mortality, of our mistakes and failures, of the inevitable transformation of life into death..from wiki.}

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

15  “Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

16 “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them.

History of the Knights Templar

{“The Knights Templar were formed in the 12th century for the noble purpose of escorting Christians on their pilgrimages throughout the Holy Land during the Crusades. After inventing a system which is widely recognized as the forerunner of modern banking, the Templars grew exceedingly wealthy to the point that the powers that were, i.e., the crown and the tiara, sought to relieve them of their riches, and in 1307, a statement was issued by the debt-ridden King Philip IV of France declaring the Templars to be heretics. A great many of them were subsequently arrested, interrogated, tortured, and executed – their wealth then claimed by the greedy King Philip.” }..

{In the Knights Templar degree the initiate drinks 5 symbolic libations (or toasts) during his Templar Order initiation ceremony. The first 4 are taken out of a goblet; the libations being to the memory of (1) King Solomon “our ancient grand master” (2) Hiram King of Tyre; “our ancient grand master” (3) Hiram Abiff “the widows son, who lost his life in defence of his integrity”) (4) Simon of Cyrene, “the friend of our Saviour, who bore his cross, and fell a martyr to his faith.” (5) The fifth, and supreme, Knights Templar libation is made unto ‘the unknown’ and is performed in the vilest manner imaginable; an actual human skull-cap is placed in the hand of the candidate and he is caused to sup the content of such from this mystic cup. The candidate is told, “Pilgrim, the fifth libation is taken in a very solemn way. It is emblematical of the bitter cup of death, of which we must sooner or later, taste.”} ..from the web

Katatapos lang ng Knights Templar initiation ceremony, the 2nd  for this year,  last Saturday, Oct 8, 2016  sa SRT at tulad noong mga unang panahon na seremonya ay ginawa din nila ang nasimulan nang tradisyon – para sa pagpapala ng Diyos.

Congratulations mga Sir Knights!

Theoricus

As a Zelator Aspirant of the Second Grade, I was conducted at the center of the Temple and placed before the Ancient of Air which seated behind the Pillar in the cardinal point of the East ruled by the zodiac Libra and the Divinic Deity YHVH.

” Frater Zelator, what do you desire?”

” I desire for more  knowledge to study the constitution of the Universe and the structure of the world and seek to understand the relations that exist between the soul of men and his body, and investigate the sources and effects of the elemental forces”.

Then I was asked to kneel on both knees and invoke the blessing of God.

Afterwards, I was asked to make my vow and promise to study with zeal the mysteries of the art and sciences.

I also gave my solemn promise  to conceal the secret knowledge of this second grade   Theoricus.

Journey of the Soul

“The ancient Philosophers regarded the soul of man as having had its origin in Heaven. That was, Macrobius says, a settled opinion among them all; and they held it to be the only true wisdom, for the soul, while united with the body, to look ever toward its source, and strive to return to the place whence it came. Among the fixed stars it dwelt, until, seduced by the desire of animating a body, it descended to be imprisoned in matter.

Let us, in order to understand this old Thought, first follow the soul in its descent. The sphere or Heaven of the fixed stars was that Holy Region, and those Elysian Fields, that were the native domicile of souls, and the place to which they re-ascended, when they had recovered their primitive purity and simplicity. From that luminous region the soul set forth, when it journeyed toward the body; a destination which it did not reach until it had undergone three degradations, designated by the name of Deaths; and until it had passed through the several spheres and the elements.

All souls remained in possession of Heaven and of happiness, so long as they were wise enough to avoid the contagion of the body, and to keep themselves from any contact with matter. But those who, from that lofty abode, where they were lapped in eternal light, have looked longingly toward the body, and toward that which we here below call life, but which is to the soul a real death; and who have conceived for it a secret desire,–those souls, victims of their concupiscence, are attracted by degrees toward the inferior regions of the world, by the mere weight of thought and of that terrestrial desire.

The soul, perfectly incorporeal, does not at once invest itself with the gross envelope of the body, but little by little, by successive and insensible alterations, and in proportion as it removes further and further from the simple and perfect substance in which it dwelt at first. It first surrounds itself with a body composed of the substance of the stars; and afterward, as it descends through the several spheres, with ethereal matter more and more gross, thus by degrees descending to an earthly body; and its number of degradations or deaths being the same as that of the spheres which it traverses.

The Galaxy, Macrobius says, crosses the Zodiac in two opposite points, Cancer and Capricorn, the tropical points in the sun’s course, ordinarily called the Gates of the Sun.

Through these gates souls were supposed to descend to earth and re-ascend to Heaven. One, Macrobius says, in his dream of Scipio, was styled the Gate of Men; and the other, the Gate of the Gods. Cancer was the former, because souls descended by it to the earth; and Capricorn the latter, because by it they re-ascended to their seats of immortality, and became Gods. From the. Milky Way, according to Pythagoras, diverged the route to the dominions of Pluto. Until they left the Galaxy, they were not deemed to have commenced to descend toward the terrestrial bodies. From that they departed, and to that they returned. Until they reached the sign Cancer, they had not left it, and were still Gods. When they reached Leo, they commenced their apprenticeship for their future condition; and when they were at Aquarius, the sign opposite Leo, they were furthest removed from human life.

The soul, descending from the celestial limits, where the Zodiac and Galaxy unite, loses its spherical shape, the shape of all Divine Nature, and is lengthened into a cone, as a point is lengthened into a line; and then, an indivisible monad before, it divides itself and becomes a dead–that is, unity becomes division, disturbance, and conflict. Then it begins to experience the disorder which reigns in matter, to which it unites itself, becoming, as it were, intoxicated by draughts of grosser matter: of which inebriation the cup of Bakchos, between Cancer and Leo, is a symbol. It is for them the cup of forgetfulness. They assemble, says Plato, in the fields of oblivion, to drink there the water of the river Ameles, which causes men to forget everything.

This fiction is also found in Virgil. “If souls,” says Macrobius, “carried with them into the bodies they occupy all the knowledge which they had acquired of divine things, during their sojourn in the Heavens, men would not differ in opinion as to the Deity; but some of them forget more, and some less, of that which they had learned.”

Dragged down by the heaviness produced by this inebriating draught, the soul falls along the zodiac and the milky way to the lower spheres, and in its descent not only takes, in each sphere, a new envelope of the material composing the luminous bodies of the planets, but receives there the different faculties which it is to exercise while it inhabits the body.

In Saturn, it acquires the power of reasoning and intelligence, or what is termed the logical and contemplative faculty. From Jupiter it receives the power of action. Mars gives it valor, enterprise, and impetuosity. From the Sun it receives the senses and imagination, which produce sensation, perception, and thought. Venus inspires it with desires. Mercury gives it the faculty of expressing and enunciating what it thinks and feels. And, on entering the sphere of the Moon, it acquires the force of generation and growth. This lunary sphere, lowest and basest to divine bodies, is first and highest to terrestrial bodies. And the lunary body there assumed by the soul, while, as it were, the sediment of celestial matter, is also the first substance of animal matter.

The celestial bodies, Heaven, the Stars, and the other Divine elements, ever aspire to rise. The soul reaching the region which mortality inhabits, tends toward terrestrial bodies, and is deemed to die. Let no one, says Macrobius, be surprised that we so frequently speak of the death of this soul, which yet we call immortal. It is neither annulled nor destroyed by such death: but merely enfeebled for a time; and does not thereby forfeit its prerogative of immortality; for afterward, freed from the body, when it has been purified from the vice-stains contracted during that connection, it is re-established in all its privileges, and returns to the luminous abode of its immortality.

On its return, it restores to each sphere through which it ascends, the passions and earthly faculties received from them: to the Moon, the faculty of increase and diminution of the body; to Mercury, fraud, the architect of evils; to Venus, the seductive love of pleasure; to the Sun, the passion for greatness and empire; to Mars, audacity and temerity; to Jupiter, avarice; and to Saturn, falsehood and deceit: and at last, relieved of all, it enters naked and pure into the eighth sphere or highest Heaven.

All this agrees with the doctrine of Plato, that the soul cannot re-enter into Heaven, until the revolutions of the Universe shall have restored it to its primitive condition, and purified it from the effects of its contact with the four elements.” …From Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike.

Macrocosm and the Microcosm

Man is composed of Body, Soul and Spirit. The body is formed from the material world, the spirit from the Divine World of God, and Soul  from  Celestial World that dwells in the body.

To further explained the mystery, the ancient philosophers spoke of the Macrocosm consists of the created Universe, the Sun, Moon, Planets , Stars. while Microcosm was the soul of man influenced  by the heavenly bodies.

Example:

My Natal Chart

Astrologers compute the location of the stars and planets based on the time and day of birth in the form of a sphere indicating the constellations and position of the luminaries. The outer ring is composed of the 12 zodiac signs using the glyphs of Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The inner wheel is the 12 zodiacal houses with planet symbols and  degrees; numbered 1 to 12 starting from the east or the left side generally called ascendant. The middle circle shows the relation of the planets with respect to each other. As regard to elements and modality, these are specifics necessary to analyze the alchemical elements of the body and soul- the macrocosm and microcosm.

There are corresponding meaning appertaining to the influences of the planets and fixed stars like star sirius, arcturus, etc which are quite long to detail the effects of its transit and progression.

By mere looking at the vitasphere,  and if someone understands the elements of nature, the location of these celestial bodies is a path to determine one’s character and the destiny related to it.

So mote it be.

                                                                       Rose and Cross Altar

On May 21, 2012. I was admitted to be elected membership in the society of Societas Rosicruciana In Civitatibus Foederatis ( SRICF), Pearl of the Orient College,  by the ceremony of the First Grade – Zelator, one of the four Grades of the First Order. This is the study  of the powers and properties of Numbers, and the philosophy of the Hebrew Kabalah, in which the relations between Numbers, Letters, Words and Things are defined. In this grade, we were introduced to the principles of Four Ancients – the elements, the Cross, the Pentagram, and the symbol LVX.

Zelator Grade of the First Order

The ritual of the First Order ( First, Second, Third, Fourth Grades), and Second Order ( Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Grades) has strengthened my knowledge of the kabalistic ritual, the explanation of the Gematria, Numerology, the elemental process of nature ( earth, air, fire, water and spirit) mystery principles of Hermes Tresmigestus,  astrology ( the planetary influences ) , the enochian deities and archangelic divine names of the portal pillars  which all form part of my daily ceremonial magick ..invocation of the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram.

FIRST ORDER – ZELATOR  EXPLAINED

The first order Grade Zelator is performed by the invocation of the power of the Elemental Earth situated on the North side of the temple and highlights the power of the Deity (AGLA on the north) and the Archangelic name in Hebrew Uriel , as well as the Enochian Divine name who governs the portal  pillar of the North. ( from the kabalistic cross ritual)

SAMSUNG DIGIMAX A503

The zealot upon meditation should invoke the elemental forces governing the element of Earth like the earth itself, material world, possession, trees, soil, green, wealth, and also invokes those forces that are relevant to the sphere of Malkuth on the Tree of Life of the Kabbalah.

The Star of David's Four Elements Arithmetic

According to Kabbalah, the Universe is consisted of a combination of Four basic Elements: Fire, Air, Water and Earth.

The basic format for what follows is basically the same for the Theoricus, Practicus, and Philosophus grade rituals. For instance, in the Theoricus ritual we will do basically the same thing as the Zelator ritual, but instead invoke the elemental powers of Air instead of Earth. The Practicus ritual will involve the elemental powers of Water, and the Philosophus Ritual will involve the elemental powers of Fire. These are the elemental powers of the primary secrets of Nature.

zelator-1

The Portal Ritual is one in which we will be combining all of these various items from Zelator through Philosophus, but will be adding the fifth element of Spirit. It makes for a somewhat longer ritual, but the general idea in the Portal grade is to assemble, some would say re-assemble, the various elemental components of ourselves under the presidency of Spirit. Hence, the use of all of the previous components of the rituals from Zelator through Philosophus when performing the Portal ritual.

Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis (SRICF) History

The Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis is a Rosicrucian Society based in the United States. Its history begins with the formation of a Grand High Council on April 21, 1880. Its official consecration occurred on September 21, 1880, by three Colleges chartered by the Societas Rosicruciana In Scotia. High Grade senior Christian Freemasons in the United States in search of the Classical Rosicrucian Society for Masons in the United Kingdom became interested in organizing a similar body in the United States. They did so under Scotland’s authority (Societas Rosicruciana In Scotia) with the help of Most Worthy Charles Matier of the SRIS, as early as 1873. This effort died out two years later under the care of R.W. Frater George S. Blackie VIII and was then re-chartered by the SRIS later again in 1878. Dr. Jonathon J. French was a IX grade head of the Rosicrucian Society of the United States and opened the Matier Royal Provincial College with a charter from Lord Inverurie, Earl of Kintore and Supreme Magus of the SRIS. The college was named after Charles Fitzgerald Matier, the first Supreme Magus of SRIS who served in 1876. Harold Van Buren Voorhis insists that the Illinois College under Dr. French was never truly active, and it certainly was short-lived as Dr. French died an untimely death in 1879. Harold Voorhis also insisted that Frater Stodart Blackie’s early charter in New York had been nothing more than an unsubstantiated rumor. It has since been established as historical fact.[1]

In 1878, a group of senior U.S. Masons (Daniel Sutter, and Charles W. Parker) led by Charles E. Meyer (1839–1908) of Pennsylvania traveled to England and on July 25, 1878 were initiated into the grade of Zelator at Yorkshire College at Sheffield. They applied for a charter, but getting no response, turned to Scotland and received a charter from the college in Edinburgh in 1879. Scotland’s Society is actually the oldest as Walter Spencer is recorded as having been initiated into the SRIS by Anthony Oneil Haye in 1857, and there are documents in the SRIA archives that show that both Robert Wentworth Little and William J. Hughan were initiated in 1866 and 1867 by Anthony O’Neal Haye, Magus Max, Ros. Soc. Scot. With H.H.M. Bairnfathur signing as Secretary. The Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia was formed in England in 1866 by Robert Wentworth Little. The SRIA later felt the need to charter the current SRIS on October 24, 1873.[2]

A second charter was granted by the SRIS for a college in New York, and Fratres from Philadelphia and New York met in Philadelphia on April 21, 1880 and formed a High Council, then known as the SRRCA or the Societas Rosicrucianae Reipublica Confoedera America, was later changed to the Society of Rosicrucians in the USA by Most Worthy Frater Shryock in his capacity as Supreme Magus and then properly Latinized in 1934 by & at the suggestion of Dr. William Moseley Brown under the regime of Most Worthy Frater Hamilton. Brown composed the name (Societas Rosicruciana In Civitatibus Foederatis) himself and submitted it on January 17, 1934. The SRICF has operated continuously since its formation in the 19th Century, and is thriving today with an upsurge of young Masons being invited into its ranks with great enthusiasm and demonstrated scholarship.

Membership is by invitation only & predicated on regular mainstream Masonic affiliation as well as a profession of Christian faith. Membership was initially restricted to 36 members per College, but this was changed in 1908 by MW Thomas Shryock to 72 members per college. The See of the High Council is in Washington, D.C. The SRICF is in amity with the SRIS (Scotia) and the SRIA (Anglia) as well as the SRIC (Canada) and has helped the cause of Rosicruciana by empowering High Councils in their own sovereignty around the World. They are the SRIL in Lusitania (Portugal), SRIG in Gallia (France) and the SRIR (Romania).

The society issues an annual journal known as Ad Lucem composed of academic articles on things related to Rosicrucianism & esoteric streams of Christian Mysteries. There is also an annual report, The Rosicrucian Fama. Many of the Colleges have their own individual organs which are produced quarterly as well as annually. The governing body of the Society is known since 1911 (having dropped ‘Grand’ from its title) as The High Council which is composed of Fratres of the Third Order (IX and VIII), plus any College Celebrant not a member of the Third Order. The head of the Society is titled The Supreme Magus who was elected ad vitam up until circa 1991 when the constitution of the Society was changed to reflect that Supreme Magi are elected each triennium. Unlike the SRIA in England, a Chief Adept in the SRICF does not have regional powers, but rather is in charge of an individual College. Typically there is but one College per state, exceptions having been made for both New York and California due to their size and population.[3]

YHWH-no-J-in-Hebrew

DEGREE  XXVIII.

KNIGHT OF THE SUN, OR PRINCE ADEPT.

GOD is the author of everything that existeth; the Eternal, the Supreme, the Living, and Awful Being; from Whom nothing in the Universe is hidden. Make of Him no idols and visible images; but rather worship Him in the deep solitudes of sequestered forests; for He is invisible, and fills the Universe as its soul, and liveth not in any Temple!

Light and Darkness are the World’s Eternal ways. God is the principle of everything that exists, and the Father of all Beings. He is eternal, immovable, and Self-Existent. There are no bounds to His power. At one glance He sees the Past, the Present, and the Future; and the procession of the builders of the Pyramids, with us and our remotest Descendants, is now passing before Him. He reads our thoughts before they are known to ourselves. He rules the movements of the Universe, and all events and revolutions are the creatures of His will. For He is the Infinite Mind and Supreme Intelligence.

In the beginning Man had the WORD, and that WORD was from God: and out of the living power which, in and by that WORD, was communicated to man, came the LIGHT of his existence. Let no man speak the WORD, for by it THE FATHER made light and darkness, the world and living creatures!

In the world Yezirah, says the Pneumatica Kabalistica, ‏ו ?Y‎ de-notes Kether; ‏ו ?Y?H‎, Hakemah and Binah; and ‏ו ?Y?H?W‎, Gedulah, Geburah, and Tephareth; and thus Vau is Beauty and Harmony. The Man is Hakemah; the Eagle, Binah; the Lion, Gedulah; and the Ox, Geburah. And the mysterious circle is thus formed by the Sohar and all the Kabalists: Michael and the face of the Lion are on the South, and the right hand, with the letter ‏ו ?Y‎, Yo_d, and Water; Gabriel and the face of the Ox, on the North, and left hand, with the first ‏ו ?H‎ of the Tetragrammaton and Fire; Uriel and the face of the Eagle, on the East and forward, with ‏ו ?W‎ and Air; and Raphael and the face of the Man, on the West, and backward with the last ‏ו ?H‎, and Earth. In the same order, the four letters represent the four worlds.

Rabbi Schimeon Ben Jochai says that the four animals of the Mysterious Chariot, whose wheels are Netsach and Had, are Gedulah, whose face is the Lion’s; Geburah, with that of the Ox; Tephareth, with that of the Eagle; and Malakoth, with that of the Man.

The Seven lower Sephiroth, says the Æsch Mezareph, will represent Seven Metals; Gedulah and Geburah, Silver and Gold;

p. 799

[paragraph continues]Tephareth, Iron; Netsach and Ho_d, Tin and Copper; Yesod, Lead; and Malakoth will be the metallic Woman and Morn of the Sages, the field wherein are to be sowed the Seeds of the Secret Minerals, to wit, the Water of Gold; but in these such mysteries are concealed as no tongue can utter.

The word ‏ו ?Aם?Sה‎, Amas, is composed of the initials of the three Hebrew words that signify Air, Water, and Fire; by which, say the Kabalists, are denoted Benignity, Judicial Rigor, and Mercy or Compassion mediating between them.

Malakoth, says the Apparatus, is called Haikal, Temple or Palace, because it is the Palace of the Degree Tephareth, which is concealed and contained in it, and Haikal denotes the place in which all things are contained.

For the better understanding of the Kabalah, remember that Kether, or the Crown, is treated of as a person, composed of the ten Numerations, and as such termed Arik Anpin, or Macroprosopos:

That Hakemah is a person, and termed Abba, or Father:

That Binah is a person, and termed Mother, Imma:

That Tephareth, including all the Numerations from Khased or Gedulah to Yesod, is a person, called Seir Anpin, or Microprosopos. These Numerations are six in number, and are represented by the interlaced triangle, or the Seal of Solomon.

And Malakoth is a person, and called the wife of Microprosopos. Vau represents the Beauty or Harmony, consisting of the six parts which constitute Seir Anpin.

The wife, Malakoth, is said to be behind the husband, Seir, and to have no other cognition of him. And this is thus explained: That every cognizable object is to be known in two ways: à priori, which is when it is known by means of its cause, or of itself; or, à posteriori when it is known by its effects. The most nearly perfect mode of cognition is, when the intellect knows the thing itself, in itself, and through itself. But if it knows the thing by its similitude or idea, or species separate from it, or by its effects and operations, the cognition is much feebler and more imperfect. And it is thus only that Regnum, the wife of Seir, knows her husband, until face is turned to face, when they unite, and she has the more nearly perfect knowledge. For then the Deity, as limited and manifested in Seir and the Universe are one.

Vau is Tephareth, considered as the Unity in which are

p. 800

the six members, of which itself is one. Tephareth, Beauty, is the column which supports the world, symbolized by the column of the junior Warden in the Blue Lodges. The world was first created by Judgment: and as it could not so subsist, Mercy was conjoined with Judgment, and the Divine Mercies sustain the Universe.

God, says the Idra Suta, formed all things in the form of male and female, since otherwise the continuance of things was impossible. The All-embracing Wisdom, issuing and shining from the Most Holy Ancient, shines not otherwise than as male and female. Wisdom as the Father, Intelligence the Mother, are in equilibrium as male and female, and they are conjoined, and one shines in the other. Then they generate, and are expanded in the Truth. Then the two are the Perfection of all things, when they are coupled; and when the Son is in them, the summary of all things is in one.

These things are intrusted only to the Holy Superiors, who have entered and gone out and known the ways of the Most Holy God, so as not to err in them, to the right hand or to the left: For these things are hidden; and the lofty Holinesses shine in them, as light flows from the splendor of a lamp.

These things are committed only to those who have entered and not withdrawn; for he who has not done so had better never have been born.

All things are comprehended in the letters Vau and He; and all are one system; and these are the letters, ‏ו ?Tה?B?Wן?Tה‎. Tabunah, Intelligence.

Why Lapu-Lapu, the warrior ??..This is wrong symbol of GAOTU  at the center of the cross..this will attract  war and disharmony. The best representation is the mound be planted with red roses, the symbol of the immortality of the soul, the renewal of life, the goodness of God that will grace the high level of enlightenment to the country and the Filipino people.

From the 18th Degree Knight of Rose Croix of the moral and dogma by Albert Pike;

“The Degree of Rose Cross teaches three things;—the unity, immutability and goodness of God; the immortality of the Soul; and the ultimate defeat and extinction of evil and wrong and sorrow, by a Redeemer or Messiah, yet to come, if he has not already appeared.

The ROSE, was anciently sacred to Aurora and the Sun. It is a symbol of Dawn, of the resurrection of Light and the renewal of life, and therefore of the dawn of the first day, and more particularly of the resurrection: and the Cross and Rose together are therefore hieroglyphical to be read, the Dawn of Eternal Life which all Nations have hoped for by the advent of a Redeemer.”

From Rosicrucian;

Master Rosicrucian  Max Heindel had written, “the blood-red rose shows the passion filled blood of the human race, and the goal to bring the pure and holy state to which man will attain when he has cleansed and purified his blood from desire, when he has become chaste, pure and Christ-like.

Thus we see that in time the present passionate mode of generation will be again superceded by a pure and more efficient method than the present, and that also is symbolized in the Rose Cross where the rose is placed in the center between the four arms. The long limb represents the body, the two horizontals, the two arms and the short upper limb, the head. The the rose is in place of the larynx.

The rose, like any other flower, is the generative organ of the plant. Its green stem carries the colorless, passionless plant-blood. The blood-red rose shows the passion filled blood of the human race, but in the rose the vital fluid is not sensuous, it is chaste and pure. Thus it is an excellent symbol of the generative organ in the pure and holy state to which man will attain when he has cleansed and purified his blood from desire, when he has become chaste, pure and Christ-like.

Therefore the Rosicrucians look ardently forward to the day when the roses shall bloom upon the cross of humanity, therefore the Elder Brothers greet the aspiring soul with the words of the Rosicrucian Greeting: “May the Roses bloom upon your Cross,” and therefore the greeting is given in the meetings of the Fellowship Centers by the leader to the assembled students, probationers and disciples who respond to the greeting by saying “And on yours, also.”  (The Rosicrucian Cosmo-conception; Or, Mystic Christianity) .

The Cross

Rosy_Cross.jpg

“Cross-shaped object is ancient symbol to represent the four physical elements. Here each arm is colored to represent one element: yellow, blue, black and red to represent air, water, earth and fire. These colors are also repeated on the bottom portion of the cross. The white on the upper portion of bottom arm represents spirit, the fifth element.

The cross can also represent dualism, two forces going in conflicting directions yet uniting at a central point. The union of rose and cross is also a generative symbol, the union of male of female.

Finally, the cross’s proportions are made up of six squares: one for each arm, an extra one for the lower arm, and the center. A cross of six squares can be folded into a cube.

The Rose

The rose has three tiers of petals. The first tier, of three petals, represents the three basic alchemical elements: salt, mercury and sulfur. The tier of seven petals represents the seven Classical planets (The Sun and Moon are considered planets here, with the term “planets” indicating the seven bodies that appear to circle the earth independently of the star field, which moves as a single unit). The tier of twelve represent the astrological zodiac. Each of the twenty-two petals bears one of the twenty-two letters in the Hebrew alphabet and also represents the twenty-two paths on the Tree of Life.

The rose itself has a myriad assortment of additional meanings associated with it:

It is at once a symbol of purity and a symbol of passion, heavenly perfection and earthly passion; virginity and fertility; death and life. The rose is the flower of the goddess Venus but also the blood of Adonis and of Christ. It is a symbol of transmutation – that of taking food from the earth and transmuting it into the beautiful fragrant rose. The rose garden is a symbol of Paradise. It is the place of the mystic marriage. In ancient Rome, roses were grown in the funerary gardens to symbolize resurrection. The thorns have represented suffering and sacrifice as well as the sins of the Fall from Paradise. (“A Brief Study of The Rose Cross Symbol,” no longer online)

Inside the large rose is a smaller cross bearing a another rose. This second rose is depicted with five petals. Five is the number of the physical senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, and it is also the number of man’s extremities: two arms, two legs, and the head. Thus, the rose represents humanity and physical existence.”

From Societas  Rosicruciana

The Symbolism of the Rose-Cross

The basic rose cross symbol is that of a rose appended to the junction of the two lines of the cross – the center point. But the traditional Rosicrucian symbol is a cross of 6 squares whereon is a red rose of five petals. The cross is of 6 squares for a number of reasons. It relates the cross to the number six which is the number of the Tree of rife Sphere to which it corresponds, (See the Tree of Life diagram in the appendix) that is, the Sphere of Tiphareth (Beauty) also known as the Sphere of the Sun. The cross of six squares is also the unfolded cube of six faces. The perfect cube has been used to represent the Holy of Holies since Old Testament times. We know the tabernacle was 10 cubits in length, breadth, and height. The Sanctum Sanctorum of Solomon’s Temple likewise was cubically shaped using the measure of 20 cubits. In Revelation (21:17-18) the New Jerusalem is likened to a perfect cube of pure gold. Gold is related to the cube, cross, and Sun sphere for a number of reasons. Gold is the metal associated with the sun. But also Qabalistically, the cube unfolds to a cross of six; this means that the units around the cross (the perimeter) add up to 14. The Hebrew word zahab means gold and the letters of the word add up to 14 (Zain + Heh + Beth or 7 + 5 + 2 = 14). In addition, all these symbols that correspond to six correspond geometrically to the hexagram.

The rose is, as mentioned before, related to the number 5 and the pentagram. It is the flower of Venus, the Goddess of Love. Also as mentioned before, it is a sign of secrecy (Cupid, Venus’s son, is sometimes represented holding his finger to his lips as was the Egyptian Harpocrates.) Being the number five, it also is related to the hypotenuse of the 3-4-5 right triangle.

One of the earliest depictions of the rose and cross is in the manuscript titled the Secret Symbols of the Rosicrucians (Geheime Figures der Rosenkreuzer aus dem l6en und 17th Jahrhundert), published in 1785. (Again, see appendix) Around the upper part of the cross is written: “This is the Golden and Rosy Cross, made of pure gold, which every Brother wears on his Breast.” The Rose-Cross Lamen of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn may be derived from this figure as they have very many common elements as will be seen upon comparison. I have included the Golden Dawn Rose-Cross lamen in the appendix in both black and white and in color (the approximate correct colors). Also given is a front view and the back view. Let us examine the Rose-Cross lamen in some detail.

The lamen is a cross with each arm representing one of the four elements: Fire – red, Water – blue, Air – yellow, and Earth – citrine, olive, black and russet. Each arm is depicted with an upright pentagram crowned with Spirit representing that he who wears this is Master of the Four Worlds. This is confirmed by the glyph of the hexagram surrounded by the planetary symbols with the sign of the sun at the center.

The ending of each arm of the cross is triple with each segment assigned to one of the three alchemical principles: sulphur, salt, and mercury. The three segments upon the four arms allude also to the 12 signs of the zodiac. At the center of the cross is the rose of 22 petals. The rose is divided into 3 petals at the center, 7 petals in the second circle, and 12 in the outer circle. They are depicted in the appropriate Hebrew letters and colors as such: the three so-called Mother Letters in the primary colors (yellow, blue, and red), the 7 double letters in the secondary colors, and the 12 single letters in the chromatic color scale. Of course they also represent the 3 elements (the fourth being an admixture), the 7 planets of the ancients, and the 12 zodiac signs. In the midst of this rose is another rose-cross. Behind this Rose-Cross lamen are rays of white light with the signs of L.V.X. and I.N.R.I. written thereon.

In order to strengthen the connection of this symbol with our Society’s aims and teachings it might helpful to go over some of the correspondences and qabalistic allusions. First let us consider that in the Rose-Cross we are looking into the Mysteries of the Pentagram and the Hexagram. The Pentagram is a symbol that relates the 4 Ancients or Elements in a proper perspective to the Spirit. The elements are depicted by the symbol of the fixed signs of the Zodiac which relate to each one. That is the following:

    Fire Water Air Earth
    Leo Scorpio Aquarius Taurus
    Lion Eagle Man Bull
    5th Sign 8th Sign 11th Sign 2nd Sign
    Yod (10) Heh (5) Vav (6) Heh (5)
    Atziluth Briah Yetzirah Assiah

(As an aside: Each side of the Vault is 8 x 5 or 8+5+8+5 = 26 which equals the Unpronounceable Name of God = Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh = 26) The hexagram represents all the cosmic forces because it not only depicts the planets but also the zodiac. But we must also consider that the planets depicted are also symbols of more esoteric doctrines. Some of the correspondences are as follows:

    Planet Metal Angel Chakra Location
Mercury mercury Raphael Sahssrara Pineal gland
Moon silver Gabriel Ajna Pituitary body
    Venus copper Anael Vishuddha Pharyngeal
Sun gold Michael Anahata cardiac plexus
Jupiter tin Tzadkiel manipura solar plexus
    Mars iron Kamael Svadhisthansa prostatic
Saturn lead Tsaphkiel muladhara sacral plexus

At the end of the arms of the cross we have the alchemical symbols which mean much more than their mundane meanings. Their associations are as follows:

     Mercury Sulphur Salt
     Superconscious Self-conscious Subconscious
     Kether Chokmah Binah
     Sattvaguna Rasguna Tamasguna

It should be apparent that great care was taken in the design of this symbol. And it should be clear how this lamen synthesizes the entire First Order teachings as well as embodies that of the whole Rosicrucian Fraternity as well. It contains the Kabalah, numerology, the elements, the pentagram taught in the Zelator degree, the four worlds , the Hebrew Divine Name, the color symbolism found in the Theoricus grade, the alchemy taught in the Practicus grade, and alludes to the esoteric connections of the world religions, ancient philosophies and the deep mysteries of I.N.R.I.
